The Mount Vernon Police Department is investigating a
robbery that occurred at the Speedway gas station on the 6th
of January of this year. The male suspect entered the store
around 11:30 P.M. and confronted the clerk demanding money
from the register. Pictures of the suspect are being
released and the public is being asked for their help in
assisting the police to identify the suspect in the
pictures. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to
contact Detective Corporal Dailey at 740-393-9506 or the
Mount Vernon Police Department central dispatch at
